La Mesa Drainage Solution

Check out this drainage solution we just completed in La Mesa.  As winter approaches, it is a common misconception that San Diego stays dry and beautiful! The rains have been pretty fierce lately, which unfortunately can terrorize a backyard very quickly.  It is very important to have a drainage system on sloping hillsides like this house to prevent mudslides and overflowing water from entering your house!  At this property, we were able to create a dry riverbed drainage solution to capture and transfer any water from the slope to the front road to prevent any damage. We also added some natural boulder walls to channel the water directly to the added drainage areas.   We finished this backyard up with a pondless waterfall to incorporate that oasis touch!

Del Cerro Kids Dream Backyard

We just wrapped up this major transformation!  This family was looking for a low maintenance yard that was virtually “kid proof”.   By adding synthetic turf and finishing off with a rubber mulch playground area, we were able to provide a place for family friendly fun that will withstand countless years of enjoyment!

North Park Peaceful Oasis

This property is a true testament as to how a few additions to an existing landscape can revamp the whole feel of a house.  In this project, we incorporated the plants and hardscape previously installed into an updated fresh look.

El Cajon Turf Addition

This is a great example of how a little love to a front yard can change the complete curb appeal of a property!

Santee Dry Riverbed

This property is ready for any wet weather! San Diego is well known for its beautiful rolling canyons and hills, however the risk of water damage from runoff after a major rain storm can be concerning! Drainage is a vital part of landscaping that a lot of times is overlooked, and there are many ways to create a backyard oasis while incorporating drainage into the plan.  This location is set on a massive hillside that unfortunately caused a lot of erosion and flooding after a storm.  By creating a dry riverbed all the way to the street, it allows the water to drain effortlessly to the correct location while being aesthetically appealing!  Don’t get overwhelmed with rain, there are lots of solutions to help control the water without sacrificing beauty!
